Words Off Young Tongues

Sitting

Words are spoken one and all
Some are short yet some are tall
Each entitled to their own
Some fly out the comfort zone

Watch your tongue, said a parent
Payback comes when you are errant
Once off your lips, fate is done
Damage hotter than the sun

Sticks and stones may break ones bones
No candy or ice-cream cones
Young produce such hurting words
Adult taught, three of all thirds.
