Along you came to bid goodbye
Less pain you claim you’ll feel
No need for you to further try
They say that time will heal
I confess at first I missed you
And thought he was to blame
Still thinking your love was true
What an awful crying shame
I’m Humpty Dumpty on the wall
You think you’re Cinderella
False love helped cause this fall
Now he is your new fella
A wolf dressed in lambs clothing
While he stole your heart away
Reasons used are loathing
Over time they will decay
Steal away upon a horse
To your knight in shining armor
The palace you’ll live in of course
In the arms of your amor
On the fireplace he’ll toss a log
Reminisce with your new male
One day he’ll change back to a frog
And spoil your fairytale
I may rhyme from time to time, but you write real poetry

Thank you sir. I do enjoy your writing as you have many great things to say and in ways that work themselves into real works of art!
