Hushed are the words forming freedom of speech
Silenced in print, an invasion and breach
Voices surrender, afraid now to shout
Suspended on tongues, warm breath all knocked out
People were silenced for airing their thoughts
Freedom of speech is now missing applause
Where do we start and then where do we end
Soft spoken voices, now wish to defend
Forever lost, those who rendered their lives
Bee’s need return, placing honey in hives
Back into print are the words to protect
Voices of humans, with all due respect.
